Every bottle begins with clear boundaries.

These terms set the rights and responsibilities for using TideBottle, posting content, and interacting with other users.

1. Eligibility

1. This service is offered to registered users who can lawfully enter into these terms. Registration requires accurate account information.
2. One phone number, one account. Accounts are personal and may not be rented, lent, transferred, or sold.
3. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping credentials such as verification codes safe.

2. The service and its rules

1. TideBottle offers encounters built on randomness: you cannot pick a recipient, and there is no search, nearby, following, or targeted delivery.
2. Casting and hauling have no daily cap and no paywall.
3. Content enters the random pool once it passes review and stays valid for seven days, after which distribution stops.
4. For safety and compliance we may review content, limit distribution, or take content down, and we will tell you the rule category and how to appeal.

3. Your content and IP

1. You keep the rights to what you publish.
2. To show, transmit, cache, and back up your content for other users, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence limited to operating the service. It ends when you delete the content, except where retention is legally required.
3. You confirm that you hold the rights to what you publish and that it infringes nobody’s copyright, likeness, or privacy.
4. The interface, icons, illustrations, and copy in the app are ours and may not be used without permission.

4. What is not allowed

You may not publish or engage in sexual content, bullying or abuse, hate speech, illegal content, harassment, scams, exploitation, or content and behaviour that shares contact details, social handles, or off-platform links. You may not use automation to mass-register, mass-cast, or scrape data, and you may not interfere with the service. See the Community Guidelines for detail.

5. Virtual currency (coins)

1. Coins are consumable in-app items whose only use is raising the relative pick weight of your own bottles in the random pool.
2. Coins cannot be cashed out, gifted, or moved between accounts, and they are never a gate on core features.
3. Purchases go through the app store, and price and refunds follow store rules. Fulfilment happens after receipt validation and is idempotent, so coins are never granted twice.
4. A boost does not guarantee a number of hauls, change review rules, or target specific users.
5. After account deletion, unspent coins are void and past purchases are not refunded.

6. Limits of liability

1. The service is provided as-is. We make reasonable efforts to keep it available, but do not promise it is uninterrupted or error-free.
2. User content is not our opinion. Disputes between users are for those users to resolve, and we help within what compliance allows.
3. To the extent the law allows, our liability is capped at what you actually paid for the service in the 12 months before the dispute.
4. We are not liable for losses caused by force majeure, third-party service failures, or your own actions.

7. Enforcement and termination

If you break these terms or the Community Guidelines we may limit features, take content down, rate-limit casting, or ban the account. You may delete your account inside the app at any time, which ends these terms apart from retention we are legally required to perform.

8. Changes and disputes

We announce updates in the app with a new version and effective date. Continuing to use the app accepts them; if you do not accept, stop using the app and delete your account. These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes should first be discussed in good faith; failing that, they go to a competent court at our principal place of business.
